Welcome to my blog!

Hi! I am SO glad you are here! My name is Danielle Fox and I am a photographer in Austin, Texas. I AM SO CURIOUS ABOUT PEOPLE! I am fascinated by how they live, love and commune in relationship together. As a photographer, I capture The Space Between people. Your relationship is my subject.

Seeing a beautiful sky invigorates me. Being around genuine people refreshes me. Caring for those in need inspires me.

I want to live a wise, fun and abundant life filled with people. Follow me on twitter or email me, I'd love to talk. If there is ANYTHING I can do to help you, please tell me.

Live well. Be well. And cherish The Space Between.

Danielle

The sky’s the limit when one wears accesorries such as these. It’s not too much to ask, is it?

Why I like my job

One of my favorite aspects of the holiday season is getting Christmas cards WITH pictures from old friends and family. A month ago, I  shot a Lifestyle session for Adam and Amy McManus, and their newly adopted son, Honor. [Click here to see some images from the shoot.] As a photographer, I get to experience such...

Marshall Sherman [Portrait]

Meet Marshall. I had a great time hanging out with him downtown and capturing some of who he is on camera. He even scaled a wall. See below. We were talking so much it was a challenge to actually get pictures where Marshall’s mouth wasn’t moving. He is my first client to bring a sheriff’s...

Spending the week with her was a good exercise for me in being fully present in this moment. For me personally, its easy to get distracted...

Christopher Robbins at Central Market

Today my four year old sister, Mia and I were eating lunch at Central Market. She was watching the man sitting at the table next to us. Then she started pointing at him. I pretended not to see. Then she leaned over and whispered in my ear, “That man looks like Christopher Robbin. Do you...

Little Joys

One of the things I love most about children is their ability to find joy in the tiniest things. Have you noticed how much children laugh and smile?  It’s so fascinating. Their faces light up over bugs and sticks, surprises and imagination. Children are very present in THIS moment. I believe that is how they...

The Closeness of Death Today

I am still lying in bed. My alarm has just gone off and it’s time to start a new day. My phone rings. It is the Austin coordinator for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. She tells me there is a baby  at St. David’s Hospital. Its time for me to shadow my first...

Dad, You’ve Changed My World

Today I’m thinking about you, Dad.
Thanks for taking me to that father-daughter dance when I was in Girl Scouts. You gave me my first corsage. I danced on your shoes.  I feel asleep in the back of your car on the way home. You carried me to my bed. I was half-awake, but you didn’t know...
